Privacy policy

Porchlight Front Desk, operated by K Crouch Holdings LLC, respects your privacy and your customers' privacy. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• From businesses that contact or sign up with us: your name, business name, phone, email, address and the setup information you send us.
• From callers who reach a client's receptionist: call recordings, transcripts and the details callers choose to share (like name, phone number, address and what they need). Every call begins by saying it's recorded.
• Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe. We never see or store full card or bank numbers.

How we use it

Only to provide and improve the service: answering and summarizing calls, booking appointments, sending call summaries and reports to the business the call was for, billing, and contacting you about your account. We never sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Trusted providers that help us run the service, only for that purpose: Retell AI (phone answering), Stripe (payments), Google or Cal.com (calendars and booking), Resend (email delivery) and Supabase (secure data storage). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Call recordings and transcripts are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted, unless the business they belong to asks us to delete them sooner. When a client leaves, we delete their call data within 60 days, except what we must keep for billing or legal reasons.

Your choices

Callers can ask a business not to have their information passed along, or ask us to delete their information. Businesses can request an export or deletion of their data at any time.
